Are dolphin sightings assured during kayak hire?

Dolphins are at home in the gulf and we sight them frequently. As they are free-ranging animals, we cannot guarantee sightings at 100%, but the probability is very high. During the charter, you will receive advice on routes and strategic spots to try and encounter them.

I have never kayaked, can I hire one?

Absolutely! Our sit-on-top double kayaks are wide and stable, perfect for beginners. Before departure, you will receive clear instructions on how to paddle and safety rules.

What types of kayaks do you have for hire?

We offer 'sit-on-top' double kayaks, ideal for families and couples. They are very stable and easy to manoeuvre, also suitable for first-timers. For special requirements (e.g. single kayaks), please contact us in advance.

How far can I go with the rented kayak?

You can explore the coast of Golfo Aranci, Cala Moresca and Capo Figari on your own. The duration of the charter (2, 3 or 5 hours) determines how far you can go. We will give you a mind map with recommended routes and coves.

What is included in kayak hire?

Rental includes: double kayak, paddles, approved life jacket, initial assistance and advice on routes and points of interest (including dolphin spotting). Not included: sea shoes, phone case, parking fees.

What are the age and weight limits?

The activity is not suitable for children under 4 years of age, persons over 100 kg and persons over 70 years of age. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

Leave the harbour behind and continue at a walking pace along the dirt road of Cala Moresca Street.

When you reach the point where you can no longer proceed straight ahead (you will find a no-trespassing sign), turn right and go under the bridge you will encounter.

With the sea on your left, continue straight on until you find a white fence and a green meadow, where your orange kayaks will be waiting for you.

Our double kayaks are designed to offer maximum stability and before you begin your activity you will receive all the necessary instructions for safe paddling. Even if you can't swim, don't worry: we provide approved life jackets that will keep you afloat. Our guides are qualified and trained to handle any emergency situations, including tipping over a kayak, and will help you get back on board quickly and safely.

Should I bring special equipment?

No, we provide you with kayaks, paddles and safety jackets. We only recommend swimming costumes, water and sun cream.

How far can I go?

You can explore the coast of Golfo Aranci and Cala Moresca on your own, choosing from 2 to 5-hour rentals depending on your desire for adventure.

Can I bring the dog?

To ensure the safety and comfort of all participants, including your pets, we accept small and medium-sized dogs, provided they are well-behaved and used to being in public settings. For large dogs, it is essential to notify the guides in advance to assess feasibility and take appropriate precautions.

What if I arrive late or change my mind at the last minute?

It happens! You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.

Where can I park my car

To park your car, we recommend the large car park located directly on the Spiaggia dei Baracconi beach, right next to our meeting point. It will be easy to find us!
