If you are looking for a sea excursion in Golfo Aranci, you have probably already seen dozens of offers: dinghies, wooden boats, vintage tugboats, fishing charters. But there is a completely different way of experiencing the sea, more authentic, silent and respectful.

1. Silence: the difference that changes everything 🤫

A motor boat, no matter how quiet it is, always produces a noise. A noise that propagates underwater and that marine animals distinctly perceive.

By boatYou arrive, the engine turns off, and for the dolphins you have already been announced. They know you are there. Sometimes they approach, sometimes they don't. But the element of surprise is lost.

2. Perspective: you are in the water, not on it

On the boat you are above water. You observe it, admire it, but you are separated from it. In a kayak you are in the water.

By boat: You watch the dolphins from afar, maybe from the raised deck. They are there, you see them, you take pictures. Then you go back ashore.

3. Access: the coves that boats do not reach

Boats have a limit: the draught. They have to stop offshore and let you off by swimming or by tender. We do not.

Halfway through our tour, we pull the kayaks onto a secluded beach. We get out, sit on the sand, and in front of us is the sea. It is there that we enjoy our Sardinian aperitifcheese, salami, carasau bread, a good Vermentino. Feet in the sand, warm sun, absolute peace.

This is our aperitif. It is not a side dish to the excursion: it is an integral part of the experience.

5. Zero Impact: respect for dolphins and the sea

We love dolphins. And we love them enough not to want to stress them.

By boat: Even the most respectful boats create confusion when they gather in groups. Dolphins are surrounded, chased. Sometimes, unintentionally, they are disturbed.

6. The Effort: You don't have to be an athlete

“But I have never kayaked, can I do it?”

Of course we do! Our kayaks are very stable, easy to manoeuvre and designed for everyone: families, children (aged 4 and up), couples, even those who have never paddled in their lives.

You sit comfortably, you row at your own pace, you stop when you want to. The guide is always with you, giving you instructions, encouraging you. It is not a race: it is an experience.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is it difficult? I have never kayaked.

No problem! Our kayaks are stable and easy. Before you set off, we explain everything to you: how to paddle, how to steer, how to behave. In 10 minutes you are already an expert.

What if I fall in the water?

It happens very rarely, but if it does... you're in Sardinia, the water is warm and crystal clear! Joking aside, you always wear your life jacket and the guide is there to help you get back up in no time.

Can children participate?

Of course! From 4 years old and up, always in tandem with a parent. We have jackets in all sizes and the children have a lot of fun.

What if we don't see dolphins?

Dolphins are almost always there (sighting rate higher than 95%). But they are wild animals, we cannot guarantee this at 100%. In any case, even without dolphins, the excursion is wonderful: you paddle between dreamy coves, snorkel, enjoy an aperitif on the beach. It's still worth it.
